FDI is advancing the development of its AI-Assisted Mine Detection System, a research and development program focused on supporting the assessment of areas where mine threats are present or considered a risk.
The platform is being developed to help assess field data, support the identification of potential threat indicators and provide operators with useful field awareness. Its broader development objectives include helping reduce reliance on personnel-intensive search activities and supporting the evaluation of risk areas.
The system is being developed with a modular and scalable approach intended to accommodate different operational conditions. Detection methods, sensor architecture, data-processing techniques, AI models and other critical technical elements remain within FDI’s proprietary technology portfolio.
